Fast Company today announced its fourth annual Best Workplaces for Innovators list, honoring organizations and businesses that demonstrate a steadfast commitment to encouraging innovation at all levels. BBVA AI Factory came in at No.40 for the launch of “X Program”, a company-wide program dedicated to exploring disruptive ideas that go beyond the team scope, and allows us to develop solutions to common challenges.
Developed in collaboration with Accenture, the 2022 Best Workplaces for Innovators ranks 100 winners from a variety of industries, including computer science, biotech, consumer packaged goods, nonprofit, education, financial services, cybersecurity, engineering, diversity, sustainability, B2B, and consumer products and services. Fast Company editors and Accenture researchers worked together to score nearly 1,500 applications, and a panel of eight eminent judges reviewed and endorsed the top 100 companies. The 2022 awards feature workplaces from around the world.
In addition to the recognition as one of the best workplaces for innovators, BBVA AI Factory obtains the first place in the category of companies with less than 100 employees. The company’s culture, based on knowledge sharing, personal and professional growth and self-leadership, makes it possible for projects such as Program X to emerge, which from the first moment was very well received, receiving numerous ideas for prototypes to be developed. “With the first prototype presented, focused on improving the process of labeling large datasets, and thanks to the methodology of Program X, we managed to improve a sectoral challenge,” explains Francisco Maturana, CEO of BBVA AI Factory.
