Javier holds a BSc in Economics by Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a MSc in Data Science by AFI Escuela and is currently studying a BSc in Mathematics. Previous to BBVA, he worked as a data scientist in the R&D department of a tech consulting firm carrying out AI projects related to finance, energy and insurance industries. He joined BBVA in 2023 and since then has been involved in predictive modelling projects for early debt management. Javier enjoys learning about maths underlying ML algorithms and all its application in real-world problems.
